MMC O&G achieved recognition as one of the best locally managed companies , being one of the winners in the 2006 Enterprise 50 Award Programme and ranked 17th among the 50 winners. The Enterprise 50 Award was inaugurated in 1997 and is jointly organised by Accenture and Small and Medium Industries Development Corp (SMIDEC) which is aimed at promoting the success of local enterprises that are well-positioned for the future. The award provides a platform for Malaysian companies, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to assess their performance and achievement against standards and qualities considered essential for the enterprises to operate successfully in a more globilised environment.

The objective of the Awards is to give recognition and honour to those companies that have displayed the utmost commitment to continuous innovation. Furthermore, the Awards are aimed at encouraging Malaysian businesses to continue to excel in technology-based solutions either through improving current technologies and solutions or adapting new ones. The companies that do so have helped raise the standards of competitiveness for their industries and in so doing have helped raised Malaysia's international competitiveness rating to greater heights.

MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd has shown that it has met or surpassed the stringent criteria used in the evaluation process, standing tall amongst the excellent organizations of the other industries. The Award is also a timely recognition for all the hard work and efforts put in by all staff in the past years to continue to push the company to greater heights

The Prime Minister's Quality Award is given annually to both private and public sector organizations in recognition of their achievements in Quality
Management and Business Excellence. The award is organised by National Productivity Council which is under the Ministry of International Trade and
Industry.

Management of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) is of prime importance, especially in the oil & gas industry. MMC O& G prides itself in ensuring
compliance to all laws, regulations and acts in relation to HSE when conducting business. As part of the project team that supports the client in ensuring a safe working place and designs that meet all safety
requirements, MMC O&G was awarded a ceritificate by the client, Petronas Penapisan Melaka and Malaysian Refining Company in achieving 7 million
manhours without lost time injury in April 2003.
