TJ Sow has more than twenty years of working experience of which 15 years have been on Quality Management. He has been involved in the oil & gas industry since 1993, hence to date has more than ten (10) years of oil & gas experience.
TJ was instrumental in establishing and effectively implementing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System in MMC Oil & Gas leading to certification of the system since 1993. He is a certified QSM 2000 Principal Auditor registered with International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) of United Kingdom. He has been the QA Representative for oil & gas projects, acting as Project QA Engineer or Manager for projects with international clients like Petronas Carigali, Exxonmobil, Shell, Talisman, Muphy Oil and Nippon Oil since 1993. The projects he has been involved in included Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Basic Engineering, Detailed Design and Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning projects covering onshore and offshore facilities for both local and overseas clients.
As the Head of Department for Quality Assurance, he is responsible to ensure the Quality Management System of the company and projects are continuously being complied with and meets or exceeds the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Standard. He also performs write-up for submissions for Awards for excellent organizations such as Enterprise 50, Prime Minister's Quality Award, Quality Management Excellence Award, Productivity Award, Technology Business Review and Export Excellence.
