Julai has 24 years experience in
Oil & Gas industry of which being 9 years with
Petronas/Petronas Carigali and 15 years with design
consultant such as Global engineering, Ranhill Worley
and MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd. Held various
positions in Petronas, which includes Production Measurement,
Project and Front End engineer. He was a member of
Carigali/Shell joint project team and had successfully
executed the “ Baram Delta Liquid Metering and
Allocation System” and Shell’s “
Bayan Gas Gathering Study”.
He joined design consultant, Global Engineering,
in 1991 and held various positions including Senior
Process Engineer, Chief Engineer for Miri design office
and Project Manager. Global engineering was bought
over by Ranhill Worley in 1996 and continue to serve
as Project manager, Senior Project Manager and Area
Manager for East Malaysia Operations. Julai had managed
a few key projects such as Conceptual / Detailed Design
for Shell B11 Drilling / Riser platform, PCSB’s
Pulai Gas Evacuation and Resak Compression Module.
Julai joined MMC Oil & Gas engineering
in October 2006 and currently held the position as
the Manager of Miri Office. He is responsible for
the setting up, manning, and bidding /securing work
including day-to-day running of MMC Oil & Gas
Engineering East Malaysia Operations.
