Sharifah Zaida Nurlisha has over
sixteen years of experience in project management
in oil and gas industry.
Starting her career as an Instrument Engineer in 1990
in Sime Engineering, she joined MMC OG as a Project
Engineer in 1995. Whilst working as an Instrument
Engineer, she was also seconded to Port Dickson Power
plant to oversee instrument-engineering activities
on behalf of the client.
Her project management experiences varies widely covering
oil and gas development downstream and upstream which
includes design of production, drilling and pipeline
facilities, revamp and expansion projects, feasibility
and conceptual studies, power plant and onshore design
and retrofit projects. Her clientele included PCSB,
Exxonmbil, Shell, Nippon, Talisman, Newfield, CarigaliHess,
Murphy, TLO and Penapisan Melaka. She has also been
responsible to undertake engineering management of
EPCC projects, which includes liason with local fabrication
yards for fabrication projects and also with local
construction company to build two biggest storage
tank in Malaysia under Additional PSR-2 Crude Storage
Tank Melaka project. Sharifah was also MMC OG project
manager for MMC Sinopec Consortium to build PDOC’s
480 km pipeline in Sudan, which completed successfully
in 2005.
Graduating from Nottingham University as an Electrical
and Electronic Engineer, she obtained her MBA in 1989.
Sharifah is currently heading a team of 30 people,
providing project management services for the MMC
OG. She is responsible for the administration, training
and welfare of this department.
