KELAB SUKAN & REKREASI (KRS-MMCOG)
 KRS-MMCOG, which significantly stand for "KELAB SUKAN DAN REKREASI" (SPORTS and RECREATIONS CLUB) for MMC Oil & Gas Engineering or popularly known as “Cheer You Up Club” (CYUC) was established to help the company in organizing positive social indoor and outdoor activities such as sports, travelling, family day, treasure hunt, welfare and charity, etc. Hence, it’s hopefully will inspire and cultivate a great happy working environment within MMCOG. We recognize and nurture talent to secure our future. We commit to a culture which rewards achievement and which constantly expands our knowledge, experience and opportunities.
MEMBERSHIP
Currently, memberships are automatically to all staffs in HQ. As agreed with the management and KRS, the Annual membership fee will be imposed effective from December 2011. This annual fee is expected to be collected monthly with minimum payment of RM4.00 per month. The fund is required to support all activities and events to be organized by the committee.
VISION
The vision of the establishment is to provide employees with the foundation for a harmonious working culture and strong relationships amongst the employees. Support and be part and parcel of the organization in developing a capable and quality staff with a dynamic, competitive, intelligent and proactive, through activities involvement as to engender harmony, dedicated staff to the company.
MISSION
1. Organizing activities for the staff such as sports and traveling.
2. To stimulate a harmony and happy working environment amongst staff.
3. To reduce pressure and stress through fun activities.
4. Promote activities, friendly, tolerate and cooperation among staff and the family.
5. As a platform and opportunity to develop a talent and leadership skill.
6. To improve more sense of belonging to the company.
7. To ensure that all activities are structured in line of the company's vision and mission.
ACTIVITIES IN 2011 :
1. FAMILY DAY 2011 - 9th April 2011
In continuing our vision and in appreciation of all the hard works given by the employees, KRS-MMCOG had organized the Family Day which was held at Taman Desa Water Park, Kuala Lumpur on 9th April 2011.
  There were more than 150 participants including their family had joined to make the event a successful and memorable one.
There were fun and games aplenty as employees and their families participated with gusto. It was a welcome chance for everybody to revel in the sun and unwind amid the scenic surroundings. The one-day break went a long way to fostering closer and harmonious relationships among MMC Oil & Gas Engineering's employees and the management.
It was a memorable day for most of us and we hope to meet again in 2012 at a different venue.

2. MAJLIS DOA KESYUKURAN BERSEMPENA BULAN RAMADHAN – 28th July 2011.
On 28th July 2011, KRS organized a "Majlis Doa Selamat" at the Corporate building as a thankful event to the great ALLAH for all the Projects that we had secured and in remembering the Ramadhan month. A Tazkirah followed with maghrib prayer and a light dinner was served to about 20 participants.
3. MAJLIS SEJENAK BERSAMA MU.. – 20th August 2011
 As part of our social obligation towards the public and as observance to Ramadhan month in remembering the unfortunate one, KRS has organized the “Majlis Sejenak Bersama Mu..” with orphanage from Rumah Kasih Harmoni (RKH), Bandar Country Homes, Rawang, Selangor on 20th August 2011.
This event was held successfully where more than 70 kids and 13 staff from RKH were celebrated with some goodies, Duit Hari Raya and small dishes for Berbuka Puasa. KRS was represented by 7 newly appointed committees.

4. MERDEKA RAYA CONTEST – 25th August 2011
 The Merdeka Raya Contest was held on 25th August 2011 in conjunction with Hari Raya and National Day.
The purpose of this contest is to create the spirit of “Merdeka” while improving the cooperation and team work among the employees and to provide more cheers for Hari Raya.
Nine (9) department participated in this contest where there are two categories being contested;
The most creative decoration; and The most beautiful decoration.
Contract & Procurement department had won the Most creative decoration category.
   The category for most beautiful decoration was won by Commercial & Business Development (CBD).
   All the winners received their prize on 20th September 2011, during the Corporate office’s Pot-Luck event.

5. SPORTS CARNIVAL (Operation Vs Management) – 29th October 2011
 The Sport’s carnival was held on 29th October 2011 at padang Telekom, Jalan Semarak. A total of more than 140 people turn up for this event. A sports activity such as Football, Netball, Volleyball as well as Telematch being played. The game started at 9.00am and finished around 1.30pm. It was a fun day for all MMCOG’s staff including their family members. The overall winner for 2011 sport’s carnival again goes to the Management team even thought they lost the football game 4-2.

6. BOWLING TOURNAMENT – 19th November 2011
 MMCOG’s bowling tournament was held on 19th November 2011 at Ampang Super bowl located in Summit USJ. A total of 23 teams participated where all teams were named based on car’s name.
More than 100 people turn up for this event and enjoyed their games.
  The Mitsubishi team was crowned as a group champion while Encik Rashid from Project Development department and Puan Norzidah Alias from Mechanical department won individual prize for male and female category.
  All participants were given goodies and participate in Lucky draw contest with the main prize -Samsung Galaxy tab.
