The Prime Minister's Quality Award is given annually to both private and public sector organizations in recognition of their achievements in Quality Management and Business Excellence. The award is organised by National Productivity Council which is under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry.

The criteria of assessment is based on :

1. Top Management Leadership and Management of Quality
2. Use of Quality Data and Information
3. Human Resources Management
4. Customer Focus
5. Quality Assurance of External Suppliers
6. Process Management
7. Quality and Operational/Business Results
8. Corporate Responsibility

MMC O&G participated in the award in 2006 and was proud to be one of the shortlisted companies for the award. An Appreciation Certificate was presented to MMC O&G by the Prime Minister's Department.
