Signing Ceremony Event of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of Additional Crude Storage Tanks Project for Malaysian Refining Company at existing Petronas Second Refinery Phase 2 (PSR-2). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MMC Oil and Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd ("MMCOG") as the Consortium member with Warga Hikmat Kejuruteraan Sdn Bhd, has been awarded to undertake the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of Additional PSR-2 Crude Storage Tanks Project ("Project") from Malaysian Refining Company Sdn. Bhd. (MRC). The Project will involve the design, construction, installation and commissioning of two crude storage tanks, including the construction of all general services engineering works and necessary tie-ins for the project facilities. The total contract period is twenty-six (26) months. The total project cost is approximately RM133 million. The Signing Ceremony event was held on 8th December 2006 at Petronas Penapisan (Melaka) Sdn. Bhd., Sungai Udang Melaka, the operator of PSR-2 facilities. En. Shaharel Shafiei, the CEO of MMCOG and En. Jadid Ismail, the CEO of Warga Hikmat Kejuruteraan Sdn Bhd represented the Consortium, whilst En. Colin Wong Hee Huing, the CEO of MRC represented the client to officiate the contract.
