MMC O&G was awarded the Enterprise 50 Award for 2006 and ranked 17th among the 50 winners. There were 140 companies, which participated in the award for 2006. MMC O&G was chosen together with a mix of companies from the manufacturing industry, information technology sector, business services sector and those from education, exhibition services and direct marketing sectors. The company was also a winner in 2003.

In identifying the winning companies, the factors taken into consideration are micro success factors, young dynamic educated leaders, eagerness to venture into new areas and willingness to invest in research and development. The other factors include innovation, clear mission, being customer-focused and concern for staff welfare, emphasis on quality, professional management approach as well as being export oriented.

The award was presented to En. Shaharel Shafiei (CEO) at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 21 Nov 06 by Y.Bhg. Datuk Ir. Mohamed Al-Amin Hj. Abdul Majid; Chairman of SMIDEC

MMC O&G is very proud to be one of the winners of Enterprise 50 Award 2006. The company will continue to strive and maintain its high level of excellence, hence contributing towards the growth of the MMC Group and also the nation.
