Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other Engineering discipline from a recognised institution.
Minimum ten (10) years relevant working experience in the Health, Safety and Environment.
Preferably, registered as Professional Engineer with Board of Engineers, Malaysia.
Well versed with the international standards of HSE requirements i.e NFPA, FM, etc and BOMBA.
Able to lead HAZOP.
Able to develop Safety Equipment Layout and Escape Route drawings, Hazardous Area Classification Charts, HSE philosophy, QRA and HAZID.
Able to understand firewater zoning, firewater demand calculation, firewater pumping configuration, firewater hydraulic analysis and lead the activities.
Able to understand EERA, Blast Overpressure Study, Hot Gas/Exhaust Plume Study, Noise Study and coordinate the activities with the third parties.
Able to provide required HSE input into other design deliverables as developed by other engineering disciplines.
Able to lead and administer a group of HSE Engineers, importantly, ensuring a continuous high performance of the HSE Department.
