Sabihah Talib has a vast experience in various supervisory level and managing contract administration of hundred of million ringgit’s in value in her 20 years of career in oil and gas industry. Her career progression has allowed her to manage complex and time-critical projects using her strong interpersonal and communication skills to work in a team-oriented work environment.
She is responsible for projects appraisal, bid proposals, development of international joint-ventures and partnerships. Her depth of experience with local, regional and international procurement and have extensive experience to bring about cost effective procurement strategies. She also has acquired experience in assisting in project start-up efforts which include the setting up of a Project Management Team for a newly acquired service contract for field development projects.
She has skills in all phases of contract and procurement administration/management of the upstream oil and gas (covering oilfield development, FPSO operations and maintenance, fixed platforms and jackets), power plant and building sectors.
Sabihah graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical & Process) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Prior to joining MMC Oil & Gas as Head of Contracts & Procurement in 2008, she had worked with many market leader of oil and gas in Malaysia such as M3nergy Berhad , Ranhill Engineers & Constructors Sdn Bhd, Sime Darby Engineering Sdn Bhd and Malaysia Marine Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd.
She is responsible in managing all contracts administration, procurement and subcontracting matters. She is also responsible for the development and training of manpower of Contracts & Procurement Department.
