Project Location : The Cakerawala field is located in Block A-18, approximately 150 km NE of Kota Bharu and approximately 100 km south of the Bongkot field in approximately 55 m of water in the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development area

Technical Description : The well production streams are now beginning to show signs of mercury breakthrough. Further mercury build up may result in breach of the sales gas specification limit for mercury. In addition the mercury may also end up in the condensate and produced water streams. As a result CARIGALI HESS is desirous of carrying out Front End Engineering (FEED) and Detail Design (DD) of facilities for Mercury Removal in the gas, fuel gas, condensate and water streams.

The FEED work shall include development of Mercury Removal Unit (MRU) package technical specifications (for bidding), engineering calculation sizing or reports, studies to suitably locate the unit within the existing platform, and lift or installation studies.

The detail engineering design phase shall include engineering design drawings, material take-off’s, PDMS modelling and material purchase requisition specifications internal and external to the MRU skid package
