MMC Oil & Gas Engineering, having the relevant experience and track record in the Malaysian oil & gas market for the last 20 years, has pursued potential market in Iran and collaborated with Pegasus Oil & Gas Engineering to undertake the engineering and project management services which includes Front End Engineering Design (FEED) study for the Design of new topsides and substructure for Resalat (R1) Offshore Complex. The Resalat (R1) complex is located in the Persian Gulf, 80km south of Lavan Island, Iran in water depth of about 65 m.
The field has infrastructure facilities including process plants, storage and export system, utility and maintenance facilities, storehouse and loading jetty for support of offshore fields as well as the residential and social areas.
Facilities Description
• The existing Resalat (R1) Complex consists of Drilling Platform, Production Platform, Service Platform and a Flare Tripod.
• Feed studies will be performed to design facilities for the production of 80,000 stock barrels per day of total liquids in two trains of 40,000 SBFPD (total liquids) each and a test separator with a capacity of 10,000 barrel of liquids per day.
• In addition to these production facilities, a water injection system shall be designed to inject 40,000 BPD of seawater after adequate treatment.
• The new design for the Resalat complex will consists of the new drilling platform topside, new service platform topside, new Living Quarters topside, a new six-legged Production platform with new bridge linked to flare boom and 3 new satellite wellhead platforms.
• The study was completed in 6 months.
• Completed with 55,000 manhours.
