MMC Oil & Gas Engineering Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of MMC Corporation Bhd was formed in 1984 to provide complete engineering design services to the oil & gas and petrochemical industries.
The services cover primarily the following areas:
Design Engineering of offshore oil & gas production and processing facilities
Design Engineering of onshore receiving facilities and loading terminals
Here in our company we encourage our staff to go out and meet people. Whenever we have projects overseas we sent our staff for exposure. Our staff had been to Japan, Sudan, Vietnam, Iran, Qatar, Indonesia etc. and we hope that they will have a chance to go to many other new places. They also went for trainings and conferences where they also met people from other industries. These exposures will build up their confidence in dealing with future clients as well as partners. With the current globalization and borderless world we must be able to equip ourselves with the necessary tools to face the future.
The internship is a collaboration between Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporate and Association of Malaysian Oil and Gas Engineering Consultants with Local Malaysian Public Universities.
The five participating companies are MMC Oil and Gas Engineering Sdn Bhd, Ranhill-Worley Parsons Sdn Bhd, Technip Geoproduction (M) Sdn Bhd, Aker Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd and RNZ Integrated (M) Sdn Bhd and the five higher learning institutions are Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Malaya and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
