Project Details

The main purpose of this work order is to ensure that all crude produced by Angsi fields as well as from the other Peninsular Malaysia fields can be transported to TCOT in the event of Ta-P-TCOT pipeline failure or vice versa. This will provide 100& security of crude supply to Peninsular Malaysia.

Main activities:
i) Add additional 26 inch crude pipeline with associated topside facilities and pipeline riser from AnDR-A going to TCOT.
ii) The existing TCOT receiving facilities will be upgraded in order to cater for this new 26-inch pipeline and tie-in. This pipeline is expected to function as alternate crude evacuation pipeline for the existing 24 inch crude pipeline from Ta-P to TCOT.
iii) Upgrade on the existing 16 inch pipeline with associated modification and upgrade on existing launching facilities at AnDR-A and receiving facilities at Ta-P will be required and it is expected that current unidirectional pipeline flow will be converted to bi-directional flow to enable crude coming from Ta-P to flow to Angsi Complex or vice versa.
