Project Details

Angsi field is located approximately 165 km off the East coast of Peninsular Malaysia in a water depth of 69 m mean sea level (MSL). The Angsi-A Complex, comprising of a central processing platform, a drilling / riser platform and a 100-m long interconnecting bridge will be the host and processing platform for AnDP-B, AnDP-C, AnDP-E, AnDP-D, future nearby platforms such as Besar as well as a southern hub for gas from PM-9 and future southern gas fields. Dehydrated compressed gas from Guntong-D (GuD) and Seligi-A (SeA) flow across AnDR-A to the Onshore Slug Catcher (OSC). Dehydrated compressed gas from AnDR-A is evacuated via pipeline to OSC. Combined crude and condensate are exported to TCOT via the Tapis Pump crude pipeline system.

Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PCSB) and Exxon-Mobil Exploration & Production Malaysia Inc (EMEPMI) are the joint venture partners on the Angsi project under the main terms and conditions of the gas production sharing contract (GPSC).

The new Angsi-D satellite-drilling platform (AnDP-D) Host Tie-in at Angsi-A complex. This complex consists of Angsi-A Central Processing Platform (AnPG-A) and Angsi Drilling And Riser Platform (AnDR-A).
Production crude from AnDP-D will be free flowed to Angsi-A Complex via a dedicated crude oil pipeline. New host tie-in facilities in order to receive crude from AnDP-D are required at Angsi-A complex.
All the relevant host tie-in works are plan to be carried out to meet the first oil target from Angsi-D in Q4, 2007.

Scope of work undertaken by MMC O&G: The scope of work will be Conceptual and Detailed Design for Angsi-D Satellite Drilling Platform (AnDP-D), Associated Pipelines and AnDP-D Host Tie-in at Angsi-A Complex.
