Project Details

Introduction

Due to rapid depletion of gas production from Yetagun Main, Yetagun D production need to be curtailed down to meet the blending requirement. AGRU will be able to eliminate the production bottleneck (blending restrictions) from Yetagun D wells and increase recoverable reserves.

Repsol plans to monetize the high CO2 gas from Yetagun-D platform by installing Acid Gas Removal Unit (AGRU) mainly to:
a) To eliminate requirement for CO2 blending
b) To meet Gas Sales Agreement (GSA); GHV specification 950-1050 Btu/scf and not more than 15 mole% CO2 after AGRU

The development scheme is envisaged to include the installation of AGRU at Yetagun C platform, host tie-in works and modification of Yetagun Main platform to accommodate AGRU supporting facilities.
