MMCOG at MGA-MOGSC Industry Gala Dinner 2017

Friday, 3rd November 2017 – This year MGA & MOGSC Industry Gala Dinner had been successfully attended by MMCOG’s representatives, helmed by Chief Executive Officer, En. Rashid Muhamad and Project Management General Manager, Pn. Sharifah Zaida Nurlisha. Company employees attending from our corporate office enlivened the networking session with like-minded members of the OIl & Gas industry. The ceremonious event, as excerpted from MOGSC’s news bulletin:

“…This year the Malaysian Gas Association (MGA) & The Malaysian Oil & Gas Services Council (MOGSC) Industry Gala Dinner was held at the Grand Mahkota Ballroom of Istana Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The theme was A’la P. Ramlee and Saloma. The evening dazzled right from the start with instant photo booths and an enjoyable saxophonist performance in the foyer of the grand ballroom. Everyone dressed up with elegant kebaya and suits.

It was an event where Oil and Gas industry professionals gathered to network and enjoy a night of entertainment as well as an evening of fine dining. The event started with the VVIP Grand Entrance led by the saxophonist and opening dance Medley of Pesta Muda-Mudi and Bunyi Gitar.

Kishz Vin, the Master of Ceremony welcomed everyone and invited En. Hazli Sham Kassim, the President of MGA for the welcome remarks. In the midst of the event, Pn Sharifah Zaida Nurlisha, the President of MOGSC, was invited on stage to share a story and video on the Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCCS).

The event hosted a variety of performances including dancing, performance by Ushera and Zur Eda and also a night filled with laughter by comedian Phoon Chi Ho. There were 10 Ola Bola The Musical tickets given away to the table who won the “Guess the movie title” quiz courtesy of Enfiniti Productions.

In spite of the industry challenges, it is a time for all players to come together in a spirit of togetherness and unity, to support and encourage one another and to demonstrate our collective resolve to overcome the challenges and to look forward towards the future with hope and optimism. All in all, it was a wonderfully glamorous night filled with delicious food and endless entertainment.”
